Signs after a hail storm: dented vents and gutters, pockmarks or bruises on shingles, loss of granules (black patches or granules in gutters). After wind events: missing shingles, lifted edges, or damaged flashing. Interior staining after a storm is a clear sign of a breach. We inspect and document all damage.

Call us first. We inspect the damage and provide documentation before you file a claim — you need to know whether damage actually exists and what it covers before involving insurance. We work with adjusters and advocate for complete, accurate coverage of legitimate damage.

Most policies allow 1–3 years from the date of loss. Don't wait — the longer between the storm and the claim, the more the adjuster questions causation. We recommend filing promptly once damage is confirmed.

We review the adjuster's scope against our documented damage list and advocate for corrections if items are missed or undervalued. Significant differences between adjuster and contractor scope can be disputed with the insurer.
