Vanity FAQs

Demo of the old vanity, plumbing adjustments if needed, installation of the new cabinet, countertop, sink, and faucet, and connection to supply and drain lines. Mirror, lighting, and medicine cabinet are typically part of the same scope.

Quartz is the most popular — durable, non-porous, and low-maintenance. Marble looks beautiful but requires sealing and is prone to staining from toiletries. Cultured marble is a budget-friendly alternative. We help you choose based on use and maintenance preferences.

A double vanity typically requires at least 60 inches of wall space. In smaller bathrooms, a 48-inch vanity with two sinks is possible but tight. We evaluate whether the space allows it and whether the plumbing configuration supports two sink drains.

Standard vanity height is 32 inches, but 36-inch "comfort height" vanities are increasingly preferred by adults — it's easier on the back. We can order custom or semi-custom vanities in either height.
