Three layers work together: ambient (recessed ceiling lights), task (vanity lights at face level, not above the mirror), and accent (niche lighting in the shower, under-cabinet). Vanity lighting placed at the sides of the mirror at eye level eliminates the unflattering shadows that top-mounted lights create.

Yes. Fixtures inside the shower must be rated for wet locations. Fixtures within a certain distance of the shower or tub (code varies) must be rated for damp locations. We spec and install the correct fixture ratings for every location.

Yes — dimmers work with LED fixtures and are a popular addition to primary bathrooms for ambiance control. We verify GFCI protection requirements are met regardless of dimmer installation.

Around 2700K–3000K (warm white) for a flattering, comfortable ambiance. Cooler temperatures (4000K+) show colors accurately but feel clinical in a bathroom setting. We recommend warm white for primary baths and can discuss your preference.
