Yes. Electric mat systems install directly on the subfloor under tile. We run the thermostat wire to a wall-mounted control. Heated floors are a popular upgrade in primary bathrooms — the tile stays warm underfoot even when ambient temperature is cool.

Larger tiles (12x24 or bigger) with minimal grout lines make small bathrooms feel more open by reducing visual clutter. Consistent floor-to-wall tile in the same material can make a small bathroom feel significantly larger.
